Introduction

Ocean Ridge Junior Cricket Club was established in 1981 and has been focused on ensuring our young cricketers enjoy the game, develop their cricket skills and play in the spirit of the game ever since.

Based at Heathridge Park, the ORJCC offers the opportunity for boys and girls from the local area to play cricket in a family friendly environment. We cater for all age groups - we are a Cricket Australia Milo In2Cricket Centre, Including Have-a-Go cricket (5-6 years) and T20 Blast (7-8 years), and have junior Club sides from U10’s through to U17’s.

With accredited coaches, ORJCC has enjoyed consistent success on the field, winning numerous premiership flags throughout the years in various age groups. We are a relatively small but strong club, with our players consistently winning Northwest Metropolitan Cricket Association awards and a solid representation in both Districts and State Schoolboys teams.

Many of our players progress to senior cricket and we have been represented in the 1st class arena by

cricket ball gliff Damien Martyn (Australia and West Australia)

cricket ball gliff Michael Swart (Netherlands and West Australia)

cricket ball gliff Dean Brownlie (New Zealand and Canterbury)

cricket ball gliff Marcus North (Australia, West Australia and Perth Scorchers)

Our dedicated group of volunteer’s, are committed to cultivate junior cricketers, who continue play and enjoy cricket into adult life.

We welcome all new or returning players and volunteers to join the ORJCC team.
